About the role
Mater Health currently has an opportunity available for an experienced Cancer Care Nurse or Pharmacist to work in the role of CHARM Project Officer to join the Mater Cancer Care (MCCC) team at South Brisbane. This role will be permanent part time 19 hours per week.
Salary range: $39.86 - $58.59 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
What you’ll be doing
This role is designed to facilitate the use of the Citadel program, CHARM for the safe prescribing and administration of cancer care in the Mater Cancer Care Units across Queensland Mater Facilities. The role is based in South Brisbane but services all inpatient and outpatient users. This role will liaise with:
- The clinical teams within cancer care
- ITD teams
- Citadel Health
The primary function of the CHARM software is to provide medication safety for the provision of cancer care therapy (haematology and medical oncology). The MCCC Clinical Systems Officer generates and maintains the library of protocolised treatment pathways (including trial protocols in-line with the Chemotherapy Governance Guidelines of Mater Misericordiae Limited.
The MCCC Clinical Systems Officer also provides data analytics to inform activity reporting and future planning for cancer services as well as to support other clinical functions which include (but are not limited to): clinic management, trial patient selection, pathway maintenance and governance reporting of pathway modifications.
About you
You will have a Bachelor of Pharmacy. Along with your degree you will also meeting the below criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in medical oncology and haematology.
- Current APHRA registration.
- Post graduate oncology, haematology or pharmacy qualifications are desirable
- CHARM User Group Intensive Training desirable
