About the role

Mater Health is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Administration Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and operational support to the Senior Director, Private Revenue and Information Management (PRIM) and the broader PRIM team.

This is a pivotal role supporting key functions across Private Health Insurance (PHI) Contract Management, Revenue Assurance, Billing, Coding, and Scanning, helping ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant revenue processes across the organisation.

Salary range: $39.79 - $44.25 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  +access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide comprehensive diary and inbox management for the Senior Director, including prioritisation and coordination of meetings
  • Deliver high-level administrative support to PRIM teams to support smooth operational workflows
  • Manage end-of-month reporting, including collating inputs, formatting, proofreading, and uploading reports
  • Process procurement and purchasing requests (e.g. WINC, D365) in line with organisational policies
  • Coordinate travel arrangements as required across the team
  • Upload data extracts and conduct basic reconciliation and quality checks
  • Support contract management activities, including maintaining documentation and tracking deliverables
  • Assist with maintaining data in systems such as CROP
  • Perform Hospital Casemix Protocol (HCP) data extraction, uploads, and reconciliation
  • Provide general administrative support, including involvement in Second Tier processes and rate schedule maintenance

About you

You are a detail-oriented and adaptable administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative or business support role
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration – desirable
