Come Join the DES Team! The Department of Economic Security is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Procurement Technician. This position is responsible for various administrative and business management functions within the Division of Business Services. This role assists the Business Administrator in developing and implementing policies related to Multi-Service Centers (MSCs) and fiscal services, while adhering to the Arizona State Procurement Code. Key responsibilities include consulting on administrative issues, directing accounting and bookkeeping operations, preparing financial statements and reports, managing purchasing functions, and overseeing the Arizona Procurement Portal (APP). This includes vendor outreach, training, data entry, reporting, and technical assistance. The position operates within defined parameters with limited discretion. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department’s business needs and continual meetings of expected performance.
