Under the leadership of the Clinical Program Management Deputy Assistant Director within the Division Managed Care (DMC), this position provides management and oversight of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) programs. The position is responsible for high-level management, support, and operations along with the related functions/systems within the MCH/EPSDT unit. This position provides expertise, leadership and support to ensure the development of fully integrated Clinical Programs within the Agency as well as within the contracted Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). This is a highly collaborative position, working closely with other clinical and non-clinical units across the Agency. This position leads the MCH/EPSDT team, implements Arizona Management System (AMS) principles within all work units and oversees efforts related to AMS implementation and integration into day-to-day functions, supports high-level thinking and problem- solving to make programmatic decisions, and elevates any barriers or risks to the Clinical Program Management Deputy Assistant Director. This position also works very closely with the AHCCCS Chief Medical Officer and Medical, Pharmacy, and Dental Directors.
