    Under the supervision of a Physical Plant Supervisor, the Refrigeration Mechanic installs, maintains, and repairs the heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation equipment for facilities under the care of the Arizona Army National Guard in the Central region, which include the areas of Phoenix, Buckeye, and Florence. Position will occasionally utilize and supervise inmate labor to assist in maintenance and service functions. May also be required to transport inmates to and from different job sites.

    This position performs financial and compliance audits as required by Arizona Revised Statute 26-102, Arizona Administrative Code Title 8 and all other federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to the expenditure of public funds under the responsibility of the Adjutant General. The position reviews reimbursement applications from sub-recipients to ensure costs meet federal and state guidelines and, upon request, are accompanied with sufficient supporting documentation. The position then addresses any deficiencies, makes the final determination of total eligible costs and develops and distributes final audit reports. The position performs other audits of funds, grants, procurement process and credit card program as required by the agency.

    IT OPERATIONS MANAGER in PHOENIX

    The IT Operations Manager is responsible for supervising the operations team, monitoring system performance and configuring new software and hardware. Configures internal systems, diagnoses and troubleshoots technical issues, upgrades the technical infrastructure, installs servers, devices and firewalls. Trains new system users and sets up their accounts, monitors the performance of servers, software and hardware, and ensures the smooth deployment of new applications. Identifies technical problems, anticipates potential issues and repairs systems and software when necessary. Other duties may include setting up new users and giving them access to the resources, managing and maintaining file servers and cloud based systems. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics.
