  • Maternal Child Health / EPSDT Supervisor in various locations

    Under the leadership of the Maternal Child Health/EPSDT Manager, this position will provide oversight and monitoring of policies, programs, and activities related to the areas of maternal health, preventive health, family planning, and Early and Periodic, Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment programs (EPSDT), within the Division of Managed Care Services. This includes directly supervising a team of nurse coordinators, directing and delegating work to staff, training of new employees, conducting one on one and team meetings, and identifying and supporting staff and team goals and professional development. This position will be responsible for health plan compliance reviews and activities, technical assistance provided to health plans and providers, and representing the Agency at various meetings, conferences, and events, as well as representing the MCH/EPSDT unit internally, along with, or in the absence of the manager.

  • Health Care Compliance Officer - Registered Nurse - Medical Facilities Licensing in PHOENIX

    Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Medical Facilities Licensing. Assists with or determines the issuing of licenses to licensed facilities and providers, maintaining current licenses by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Conducts initial and annual recertification inspections of health care institutions regulated by the Department to determine compliance with all applicable regulations. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed facility or provider upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed facility. Performing services that need regulation. Corresponds with the regulated community or with regulatory bodies, responds to technical questions from licensees, develops standards, participates in rulemaking, and conducts inspections. Performs, assists or reviews detailed investigative or inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and correspondence regarding changes in the status of a licensee’s license, or other types of legal orders.

    This position works on a team and manages the planning and implementation of forestry projects on private, state, and federal land in the assigned District. Projects include, but are not limited to, hazardous fuel reduction, forest health improvement, and watershed restoration.
