      Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Quality Assurance and Improvement Office, Radiation Control, and the Laboratory Licensure and Certification Office. Assists or determines the issuing of licenses to laboratories (Medical Marijuana, Environmental, Clinical), maintaining current licenses (EPA, CLIA, ISO/IEC) for ASPHL by ensuring the minimum standards of proficiency, methodology, quality assurance, operation and safety, and ensuring compliance with ionizing and non-ionizing radiation. Conducts initial and annual inspections of laboratories, ionizing and non ionizing facilities to determine compliance with the Statutes or Rules. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed laboratory upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed laboratory performing compliance testing. This position is required to perform work at/attend meetings at alternate locations and/or travel (in and out of state) when necessary, possibly requiring a state, personal or rented vehicle.

      Under the supervision of the Rental Development Programs Administrator, the Rental Development Programs Manager serves as a team leader and is responsible for working with the rental development team to manage affordable rental development projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual provisions. The Rental Development team distributes approximately $35 million in funds each year for the production of approximately 2,500 units of affordable housing. The Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) is the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) allocating agency for Arizona, and also awards and administers gap funding including State Housing Trust Funds, National Housing Trust Funds, and HOME Investment Partnership Program Funding. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, in Arizona, to include in-office hoteling, based on the department’s business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
