      The Disaster Reservist is a part-time, as needed position. This position provides the agency with the flexibility to expand and provide staffing levels to best meet mission requirements based upon the situation. Disaster Reservists are utilized to support any branch/section within the Arizona Division of Emergency Management, and it is imperative they can work effectively in high stress environments and potentially adverse conditions during field deployments. The Disaster Reservist Coordinator I (DRC 1) will deploy to act as liaison between the SEOC and county/local Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) and or Incident Command Posts (ICP) to support intelligence gathering in the field and support policy decisions to mitigate the effects of the disaster. The primary function of this position is to facilitate effective communication and coordination between the SEOC, county/local EOC and the ICP. The DRC 1 is required to have and maintain a working knowledge of assessing disaster effects, information gathering, incident command systems, incident action planning and safety procedures, and must have highly effective verbal and written communications skills. Actively participates in promoting a continuous improvement of workplace culture, through the use of teamwork, root cause problem solving, standard operating procedures, and review of performance metrics.

Centralized Records Coordinator - Performs statewide research in systems regarding child maltreatment records. Processes statewide and nationwide requests from the public, media, court personnel, and legal requests to aide in criminal prosecution and in making rulings for civil child custody matters. Conducts Department of Child Safety (DCS) out-of-state and law enforcement information requests for individuals whom a DCS report has been made.
