The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a highly qualified individual with outstanding communication and strong leadership skills. This position holds a critical first-line supervisory role overseeing TCU staff operations, training, and performance. This role requires knowledge of sentencing laws to ensure the accuracy and legal integrity of time-sensitive inmate release processes and sentencing data, preventing errors, liberty interest violations, and litigation. Interprets multi-jurisdictional sentencing orders, conducts daily audits of inmate sentencing upon intake to the ADCRR, manages daily work flows, and monitors staff performance. In addition, reviews and responds to correspondence regarding information on time computations, processes, and procedures.

      Now hiring Correctional Officer I for our Tucson/Douglas Commitment. A one-year commitment will begin on the date you start at the Complex.  You may be offered an earlier opportunity for transfer to ASPC-Douglas based on availability.    This position is scheduled for up to a sixteen-hour day, including four hours of paid travel time.  Schedules are based on operational needs and are subject to change.  You will report to ASPC-Douglas, where a vanpool will transport you to ASPC-Tucson for your scheduled work day.  You will work your shift and then return to ASPC-Douglas.
