Essential HR Tools and Technologies FMLA: Family and Medical Leave Act ADA - Americans with Disabilities Act LWOP- Leave Without Pay Benefits enrollment, also known as "open enrollment" or "benefits election” Parental Leave Human Resources Information Systems Liason to ASRS - Arizona State Retirement System (connecting employees to the appropriate ASRS POC) Essential Talents Advise on employment regulations, benefits, procedures, and classification programs. Research employee benefits and health and safety practices, and recommend changes or modifications to existing policies. Administer employee insurance, pension, and savings plans, working with insurance brokers and plan carriers. Work with the Department of Labor and promote its use with employers.
