• This position serves to maximize the impact of federal investments and support the agency's efforts to administer the Child Nutrition Programs with integrity. The Director of Child Nutrition Data and Technology Systems provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Health and Nutrition Services (HNS) Division's data systems, technology initiatives, and data governance activities. • As the division's primary liaison with Information Technology and other agency partners, the Director coordinates system enhancements, technology solutions, and enterprise data initiatives. They oversee performance of technology systems while advancing technology solutions that improve efficiency, customer service, and the effective administration of Child Nutrition Programs. • The Director ensures effective utilization, integrity, accessibility, and reporting of program and fiscal data to support federal, state, and agency requirements. This role oversees data management processes, analytics, reporting, data-sharing activities, and customer-focused data services to ensure accurate reporting, informed decision-making, and efficient program operations. • Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel is/may be required for this position. The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate.
