MANUFACTURED HOUSING INSPECTOR in various locations
Within the Office of Manufactured Housing Division of the Arizona Department of Housing, this position will enforce existing State laws and regulations mandated by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with regard to the installation of mobile homes, manufactured homes and factory-build buildings (“FBB”). These functions support the Division’s mission to maintain standard of quality and safety for manufactured homes and FBBs, and the consumers of these products. Inspectors also mentor installation licensees and Registrar of Contractors’ licensees who perform work on site where the installation occurs as part of continuous improvement. Other duties as assigned. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, in Arizona, to include in-office hoteling, based on the department’s business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Under the direction of the Warden, the Deputy Warden of Operations monitors and oversees complex operations and serves as the acting Warden in his / her absence. The incumbent will serve as administrator of a multi-custody prison complex, which includes restrictive status housing. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing diverse groups of staff, progressive administrative experience in budget management, managing inmate populations, monitoring and directing unit operations, security, inmate programming, and physical plant operations. In collaboration with the Warden, the Deputy Warden of Operations is responsible for ensuring the prison applies modern correctional practices.
