Emergency Planning Coordinator in PHOENIX
This position will function as the Emergency Planning/ Exercise Coordinator for the Partner Integration Section within the Bureau of Operational Readiness and Response. The person will develop, update, and maintain ADHS public health preparedness plans and develop and execute exercises to test those plans. The person will coordinate with federal, county, state and tribal officials on preparedness plans review and updates and maintain documentation. This will include ensuring that appropriate plans are proofed, reviewed, approved, and integrated into agency plans and the Arizona State Emergency Response and Recovery Plan (SERRP) ensuring that all plans are consistent with the National Incident Management System (NIMS). The person will be responsible for documenting and submitting Federal and State preparedness and emergency management annual reports (e.g. Emergency Management Accreditation Program (EMAP), Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB), National Incident Management System Compliance Assistance Support Tool (NIMSCAST), and Operational Readiness Review (ORR)).
