Responsible for accurate completion of inspections and complaint investigations, scheduling and prioritizing work assignments, document and form preparation, all within the established time frames. Responsible for conducting investigations of considerable difficulty regarding all complaints of rule, statute violations and CMS life safety regulations; conduct joint investigations with local law enforcement agencies, fire departments and Adult Protective Services as necessary. Provide training and technical assistance to owners, administrators, directors, providers, and/or staff regarding state licensing/certification and CMS life safety requirements and corrections needed to attain compliance; take necessary actions, including legal, against providers found to be non-compliant with state statutes and rules.
