he Statewide Supervisor of Probation Services (SSPS) serves as the direct liaison between the Office of the Commissioner of Probation and local probation offices, justices and clerks within the Probate and Family Court Department. The SSPS, under the general supervision of the Commissioner of Probation and his/her designee, assists in the oversight and supervision of probation personnel through on-site evaluative audits and ongoing communication. The SSPS is directly responsible for ensuring that chief probation officers and other probation personnel comply with existing statutes, best evidence-based practices, as well as with all Probation and Trial Court policies and procedures.
