The Stanford Department of Pathology seeks an outstanding MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with expertise in Molecular Genetic Pathology for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the University Medical Line or Clinician Educator Line. Board eligibility or equivalent training in Molecular Genetic Pathology or Laboratory Genetics and Genomics is required. The successful candidate will participate in the clinical reporting of high complexity molecular tests predominantly for solid tumors and hematologic neoplasms. The MGP faculty contribute to the education of pathology residents and fellows, including up to four Molecular Genetic Pathology fellows and two Laboratory Genetics and Genomics fellows each year. Opportunity is available to participate in test development toward a shared vision of comprehensive somatic and germline testing for serving our patients.
