The Opportunity

To extend Monash University, Indonesia's impact on business education in Indonesia, we are seeking to recruit outstanding academic staff at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor levels starting January, 2025.

We are seeking to recruit academic staff who will produce high-quality research in the field of Business, Business Innovation, and Global Business and have a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching at the pre- and post-experience programs.

About the Programs

Our Master’s programs are designed to empower decision-makers to deliver innovative solutions in a complex business environment, such as in Indonesia, and to make a global impact. Our pre-experience programs consist of the Master of Marketing and Digital Communication and the Master of Global Business, while the Master of Business Innovation is designed for experienced professionals looking to enhance their management and innovation skills to drive business performance. About you

Assistant Professor – You are an early career academic who recently obtained your PhD in Business or in the relevant disciplines. The Assistant Professor is expected to make significant contributions to the teaching effort of Monash Indonesia and carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly, research and/or professional endeavours relevant to the profession or discipline of Business, Business Innovation, or Global Business.

The Assistant Professor will work towards contributing to and supporting the achievement of strategic research and teaching priorities. Consideration for an appointment in this position requires a track record of high-quality scholarly activities undertaken individually and collaboratively.

Associate Professor – You are a mid-career academic with a PhD in Business or in the relevant disciplines. The Associate Professor is expected to lead and contribute to the teaching effort of Monash Indonesia and carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly, research and/or professional endeavours relevant to the profession or discipline of Business, Business Innovation, or Global Business.

The Associate Professor will work towards advancing and achieving Monash Indonesia’s strategic research priorities through a program of research focused on this cognate area. Consideration for an appointment in this position requires a track record of high-quality, ground-breaking scholarly activities undertaken individually and collaboratively.

Professor - You are a senior academic with demonstrated expertise and experience in Business or the relevant disciplines. The Professor is expected to lead and contribute to the teaching effort of Monash and carry out activities to lead, maintain and develop scholarly, research and/or professional endeavours relevant to the discipline. The Professor will be recognised as a leading authority in the relevant discipline.

The Professor will work towards advancing and achieving Monash Indonesia’s strategic research priorities through a program of research focused on the cognate area. Consideration for an appointment in this position requires a track record of high-quality, ground-breaking scholarly activities undertaken individually and collaboratively.
