Adjunct Faculty - Psychology (Districtwide, on-campus) in District-Wide
The Social Sciences departments on each of our four main campuses (Florissant Valley, Forest Park, Meramec, and Wildwood) are seeking additional adjunct faculty to support enrollment needs in several disciplines. These positions will teach on campus during the day, evening, or weekend hours (in mutual agreement between the adjunct and the department chair). There is an immediate need for faculty for the fall semester later-start courses (beginning Monday, September 22, and Monday, October 20); adjuncts selected for hire will become a part of the adjunct faculty pool of STLCC. Adjunct faculty are responsible for teaching contracted course(s) in accordance with St. Louis Community College (STLCC) curriculum requirements. All of our faculty teach and facilitate a meaningful learning experience by facilitating the course competencies in the curriculum, proactively supporting all facets of the STLCC mission, and working with key members of the academic team to support student success. Adjunct faculty are responsible for fostering and encouraging a culture of learning through appropriate delivery methods.

Administrator, Oracle & Database Systems in Corporate College
Performs duties necessary to administer and coordinate the institution’s enterprise relational database management systems. Duties include administering Oracle database systems, systems security, system performance monitoring and tuning, establish operational standards, and recommend hardware and software upgrades. Monitors industry trends in database computing, recommending investigation and possible acquisition of relevant technologies identified as strategic priorities. Serves as a specialized technical consultant to the technology support staff.

Student Worker (Information Technology) in Meramec Campus
The IT student worker will provide technical and network problem resolution to end-users (customers) by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions. The position requires providing direct technical customer support via telephone, chat, email, remote tools, or in person. Including, but are not limited to, resolving authentication problems, basic software support, verifying proper hardware and software set-up, power cycling, navigating college applications, print related issues, and troubleshooting email issues. Support will be provided in a user-friendly, professional manner.
