This position resides in the brand-new Advanced Manufacturing Center on the campus, a 100,000 square foot building dedicated to innovation and state-of-the-art teaching and technology. Other programs in the department include geospatial technology/remote aircraft pilot, biomedical electronics technology, computer aided design, electrical/electronic technology, HVAC technician, skilled trades, and welding.

Educational Assistant II - Science/Tech Division in Forest Park Campus

The Science Department on the Forest Park campus is looking for a PT lab technician who will work with our science lab coordinator to manage the physics labs. The person in this position will be responsible for lab set-up, organization, and clean-up. Hours are flexible, but candidate will be required to be on campus. This is not a virtual position. Candidate will have completed courses in physics.

Some major task include preparing, setting up and maintaining the WW science labs, monitoring the lab equipment, preparing media and solutions, culture and monitoring, ordering lab supplies and keeping track, supervising and ensuring lab safety issues along with other duties related to the lab.
