Safety Officer in Savannah
Providing a safe learning environment for our students, staff and faculty is the core function of the SCAD Department of University Safety. Safety officers will work at various locations and roles throughout the Savannah and Atlanta campuses. Safety Officer positions include patrol officer and fixed post officer. In both of these roles, responsibilities include deterring undesirable behaviors, writing and inputting reports, conducting visual inspections of facilities, directing traffic, responding to radio calls as needed, calling in safety concerns, completing visual inspections and observing occurrences of areas being patrolled.
