Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus approximately two years relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience that enable the performance of all aspects of the position, is necessary. Proficiency with enterprise environment technologies such as Oracle PL/SQL, GraphQL, PHP, and API integration tools is required. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service focus is required. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users is required. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment is required. Ability to make decisions with imperfect information is required. |
Preferred Qualifications: A master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred. At least 2 years of experience with Ellucian Banner and its extensibility tools including Experience Premium, Xtender, ProcessMaker/Ellucian Workfow, and Ethos integration APIs and tools is preferred. Advanced knowledge of: systems and web development and analysis; systems integration of operations systems, applications, networks, and databases, as well as formal data structure design, relational database design, and file structure; applications software; operating systems and utilities; communication interfaces; interactive debugging and testing; and identifying and resolving software/hardware interface problems.
