      This position is for Part Time Lecturer Position for the ME, MET, EECE, CEET, and PDET programs in the School of Engineering. It will require in-person/ online teaching. Teaching may include a number of particular obligations that employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to in-person meetings with students, assessing student work and performance, assessment as required for ABET accreditation, preparing syllabus and course materials, providing copies of syllabus and course materials to their supervisor on request and assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules and policies.

    • Part-Time Lecturer (Physics) in Ypsilanti

      The Department of Physics and Astronomy invites qualified applicants to apply for part-time, in-person, teaching for introductory laboratory sections in physics.  During Fall 2025, potential in-person laboratory sections include algebra-based introductory physics, Mechanics, Sound, and Heat (PHY 221), and calculus-based introductory physics, Mechanics and Sound (PHY 223). These two-hour laboratory sections involve face-to-face instruction during daytime hours. Applicants should be available to teach these courses on our Ypsilanti, Michigan campus during the hours of 11:00am-7:30pm (days of the week depend on the courses).
