Reporting to the President, the Chief of Police & Executive Director of Public Safety and Parking provides progressive leadership, open communication, and professional management of the University safety, security, and parking function for the benefit of the University's students, faculty, staff, visitors and the overall community. The Chief/Executive Director understands the University's needs, issues, and environment, and ensures that safety, security, and parking initiatives and day-to-day operations are aligned with the University's operations, processes, objectives and goals. The Chief/Executive Director plans, develops and directs public safety, security, traffic/parking control, parking operations, investigation, crime prevention and campus health and safety (OSHA compliance) functions programs and activities. They will serve as a member of the University's Executive Team and participate in the formulation/execution of strategic initiatives that impact the University at large.

Part Time Lecturer (Art & Design) in Ypsilanti
Title: Part-Time Lecturer (Art) The School of Art & Design invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer positions in the undergraduate program. We are currently most in need of a new Part Time Lecturer to teach Art Education courses. Depending on the needs of the program, which vary in the regular Fall and Winter terms, we may seek new Part-Time Lecturers to teach non-majors courses in studio art and art appreciation, foundations courses in studio art, or art history courses. Qualifications: Applicants must possess a terminal degree in their field (MFA for studio art courses or PhD for Art History). Art Education candidates should have a minimum of a Masters in Art Ed with substantial art education professional experience and / or a PhD in Art Education. Appointments for each term are finalized by the School Director.
