    ECTC is seeking a Communications Instructor with the ability and desire to teach General Education oral communication courses including COM181, COM252.and any other related courses. This position will instruct the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester and be responsible for student guidance-advising activities, internal and institutional service, external and community service, professional development activities, and educational leadership. Assignments may include some evening, weekend, and/or off-campus courses. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching, working with a diverse population, and serving the community and technical college mission. The assignment period is a full-time, 10-month (August-May) position.

The director’s time will be split between the ECTC Leitchfield campus and ECTC Springfield campus. The director is responsible for all facets of designing, implementing, administering, supervising, and evaluating the SSS project. This is a grant funded position through 2030, with annual evaluations.
