Norfolk State University invites applications for a tenure-track position for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Social Work in The Ethelyn R. Strong School of Social Work. Candidates are required to possess an MSW from a CSWE accredited Social Work Program and to have earned a terminal degree (PhD, DSW) in social work or a related field. ABD candidates will be considered. The candidate selected is expected to demonstrate and engage in scholarship; provide evidence or potential for exemplary teaching (3+3 teaching load); serve as a professional advisor; provide dissertation support to doctoral students, and engage in service at the university, community, regional, and national levels.
