The Financial Aid Counselor serves as the student’s primary contact for the Financial Aid Office within their cohort of students. The incumbent will be responsible for reviewing Satisfactory Academic Progress appeals, collecting and reviewing verification documents for completion and accuracy, reviewing professional judgment documentation and performing need analysis. The incumbent will lead University efforts for financial literacy and develop workshops for educational purposes to promote awareness as well as be responsible for default management processes and perform exit counseling requirements for students.
