Job Duties

This position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of a therapeutic community. Safety Security Treatment Technicians will be responsible for community development of approximately 40 residents on a living unit; behavioral interventions supporting therapeutic progress; assisting with enforcing unit rules, policies, and procedures; performing room inspections; and documenting behaviors of residents.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to operate automated control systems, personal computer and to use computerized forms for data entry
• Ability to work any assigned post as directed by supervisor.
• Excellent oral and written communications
• Ability to interpret and apply basic policies and procedures
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to meet established deadlines
• Ability to attend to detail
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Considerable experience working in a Human Services position.

Additional Considerations

• Experience working with sex offenders
• Experience working with residents in a forensic environment
