The Department of Computer Science at Norfolk State University (NSU) seeks applicants for the position of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor-Computer Science (CS) to begin in Fall 2024. The Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Norfolk State University is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org, under the General Criteria and the Computer Science Program Criteria. The university is recognized by NSA/DHS as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense. Successful candidates will be able to teach a wide variety of undergraduate courses in CS and software engineering (see course list here), and to develop and teach graduate courses in their area(s) of expertise.
