Procurement Officer in Williamsburg, Virginia
Help Bring History to Life — Behind the Scenes Every exhibit, every living-history program, every school field trip at the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation depends on people who make sure the right resources are in the right place at the right time. That's where you come in. As our Procurement Officer, you'll be the go-to partner for the teams that run our museums and education programs, sourcing vendors, securing competitive pricing, and keeping purchases moving so our historians, educators, and event staff can focus on telling the story of America's beginnings. It's hands-on, detail-driven work with real visibility across the agency, and it's a genuine on-ramp into a Commonwealth procurement career, with support to earn your Virginia Contracting Officer certification along the way. If you want work that keeps you engaged, room to build a career, and a paycheck that supports something bigger than the bottom line, we'd love to meet you.

Budget & Financial Services Manager in Williamsburg, Virginia
Lead the Financial Engine Behind America's Founding Story The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation brings the origins of the United States to life for hundreds of thousands of visitors and students every year. Behind every exhibit, program, and school visit is a financial operation that has to be sharp, compliant, and forward-looking and we're looking for the leader to run it. As our Budget & Financial Services Manager, you'll own the budget, procurement, and payroll functions for the Foundation and its private affiliates, and you'll lead the team that delivers them. This is a role with genuine breadth: one week you're building the capital budget that leadership and our governing boards will act on, the next you're strengthening procurement controls or making sure payroll runs flawlessly. You'll be the single point through which the agency's financial picture comes into focus and a trusted advisor to senior leadership. You'll thrive here if you're an experienced public-sector or governmental finance professional who leads people well, sees around corners, and likes owning outcomes rather than pieces of them. Deep budget expertise is the foundation; the ability to manage across payroll and procurement, mentor a team, and translate numbers into decisions is what will make you excel. If you've built your career in another state or public entity, that experience travels and we'll support you in picking up the Commonwealth-specific systems and certifications. Join us, and your work won't just balance a ledger. It will help sustain a mission of national importance: fostering understanding of the early history, settlement, and development of the United States through the convergence of American Indian, European, and African cultures.
