The Department of Nursing and Allied Health in the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology at Norfolk State University invites applications for a 12-month tenure track position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. The successful candidate will teach nursing courses at the undergraduate level for the traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and for the Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) programs. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to direct undergraduate research projects. We seek an accomplished teacher - scientist with a proven track record in teaching, grantsmanship and experience at an institution with a profile such as Norfolk State University. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing NSU’s research environment and contribute to the overall growth and success of the Department’s nursing programs. A review of applications will begin on October 25, 2026, and continue until the position is filled. The position begins in January 2027.
