The Program Director holds a 12-Month faculty position that reports to the Dean of Healthcare Professions. The Director of the Sonography Program is responsible for the Certificate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and the Certificate of Cardiovascular Sonography Programs at Jackson State Community College. All tasks adhere to CAAHEP and JRCDMS standards, as well as regional healthcare expectations. In addition to classroom/laboratory instruction, the Director will be responsible for the organization, administration, periodic review, planning, development and general effectiveness of the program; will provide input into the program budget; and supervise other faculty within the program.

Workforce Talent Pipeline Strategist - West in Nashville
The primary function of the Workforce Talent Pipeline Strategist is to exercise discretion and use professional judgement, informed by their education and experience, while collaborating with a diverse clientele including: system and campus leaders, faculty, staff, business & industry leaders, and state agencies to design and develop innovative and adaptive curricula to support TBR institutions of higher education and our mission of student success and workforce development. The Workforce Talent Pipeline Strategist will provide leadership in cultivating partnerships involving innovative curricular designs to address the workforce development needs of business/industry in an assigned region. The Strategist will also be responsible for the development and implementation of regional workforce development projects resulting from TNWORKS. This includes researching new programs and partnerships and leading strategic sessions to engage regional colleges in these opportunities. This position may have the opportunity to work remote within the state of Tennessee but with periodic visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) at the employee’s expense, and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges may be necessary.

Instructor of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Education 9/10 Month (Term) in Gallatin
This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in multiple instructional delivery formats and participating in evaluation of student learning and assessment of course and program outcomes. Faculty will participate in service activities to support the College’s mission. The EMS Education instructor works under the supervision of the Director of EMS Education. The instructor participates in the assessment, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of program curriculum. The instructor conducts classroom, skills lab, and online instruction for EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic courses. The instructor coordinates student advising and associated clinical site management for the Emergency Medical Services Education Program.
