      Allied Health Specialist in Knoxville

      The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Allied Health Specialist position in our Allied Health department at our Knox Regional Health Science Education Center campus. This is a full-time position that will work a 37.5-hour workweek. The Allied Health Specialist will create a welcoming, high-energy environment that fosters interaction among students and staff, ensuring that all individuals, including adult learners, feel valued and supported. This role involves providing exceptional customer service to all enrolled students at TCAT Knoxville locations.

      This is a full-time position working under general supervision of the Maintenance Manager or designee. The position independently plans and performs complex inspections, servicing, and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilating, and mechanical systems. The role requires advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability in all three trades—electrical, plumbing, and HVAC—and the exercise of sound judgment to diagnose issues, prioritize work, and ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of campus systems.

      The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a full-time Associate Instructor position in the Truck Driving program at the Clarksville Campus. This position works in conjunction with a second instructor to provide individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult students to prepare them for employment as commercial truck drivers. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Instruction is delivered in-person. This is not a remote work position.

      The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a full-time Associate Instructor position in a new Practical Nursing program in Houston County. This is a grant-funded position. The Associate Instructor is responsible for teaching and supervision of nursing students in on-campus classroom and off-campus clinical settings and other administrative duties. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Class hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Clinical hours vary. This is not a remote position.
