      Reporting to the Director of Student Advocacy & Support, the Coordinator assists in supporting day-to-day operations of the Center for Access, serving students with disabilities. The Coordinator will support the center’s student organization (L.E.A.D.), manage the ambassador mentoring program, and ensure students with disabilities receive the supports they need to be successful at Southwest.       The Director is responsible for the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Education program which grants technical certificates. The Director will lead, organize, supervise, manage, and implement all aspects of the program, including classroom and online course development and instruction, curriculum development, marketing, recruitment and advising of students, budgeting, and faculty supervision and support, and revision/modification of all program components as needed. Position includes teaching responsibilities, including clinical practicum and capstone courses. The Program Director holds a 12-month faculty position with release time each term based on the size of the program, as determined by the Dean and VPAA. This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction using integrative technologies. Faculty are expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in college, department, and community activities related to the College’s mission.

      The Senior Director of Advancement plays a pivotal leadership role in the planning, implementation, and management of a comprehensive advancement strategy to support the mission and goals of Volunteer State Community College. This individual is responsible for securing major and transformational gifts, cultivating and stewarding key donor relationships, and supporting the Vice President for Advancement in driving fundraising success. The Senior Director will also serve as a critical leader, stepping in for the Vice President as needed in meetings, leadership functions, and strategic planning.
