Computer Information Technology Instructors in various locations
This position is responsible for individualized instruction in all phases of the Computer Information Technology program and administration of the College’s computer networks. Other duties include coordinating curriculum updates, student record keeping, industry and student recruitment, placement and follow-up of program graduates, and program budgeting. Maintain the installation of the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), Email and Internet systems. Maintains and upgrades software and computer equipment. Investigates and resolves computer software and hardware problems for users. Installs and performs repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. Answers staff and customers’ inquiries in person and via telephone concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, word-processing, email, Internet and operating systems. Provides technical assistance and training to systems users. Performs related work and other duties as assigned.

The Sergeant serves as first line supervisor, under the direction of the Chief of Campus Police. This position supervises the activity of police and security officers, reviews reports, and directs activities of assigned personnel. Additionally, this position responds to the scene of any significant incident to coordinate subordinate staff performance, as well as coordinate enforcement efforts with other law enforcement agencies. Provides patrol and investigative services; enforces the state, local and federal laws; and provides security and enforcement services that promote and maintain a safe campus. Educational Technology Support Coordinator in Nashville
The Educational Technology Support Coordinator is responsible for providing expert technical support and operational management of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational technologies for TBR’s Digital Learning Collaborative (DLC) in service to partner institutions. This role ensures consistent, high-quality service in areas such as course creation, user provisioning, publisher integrations, and proctoring tools. The individual will maintain and update standard operating procedures, deliver training resources, and support data collection and analysis to measure impact. Additionally, the role involves ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards, contributing to performance improvements, and collaborating with team members to advance the strategic goals and core values of the DLC. This position may have the opportunity to work remotely within the state of Tennessee but with periodic visits to the TBR System Office (Nashville, TN) at the employee’s expense, and potential travel to Tennessee TBR colleges may be necessary.
