Adjunct Instructor Diesel Powered Equipment in Clarksville
The Adjunct Instructor in the Early Technical College Diesel Powered Equipment Technology class is responsible for providing in-person theory and hands-on skills instruction to dual-enrolled high school students to prepare them to become Diesel Powered Equipment Technicians. Areas of instruction include preventive maintenance, electrical/electronics, brakes, drive train, suspension and steering, diesel engines and HVAC. This position is part-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. between August and May each year. Scheduled class hours are 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This is not a remote work position.

Computer Information Technology- Artificial Intelligence Faculty in various locations
A full-time faculty is responsible for delivering instruction in various formats (on-line, in person, video-conferencing, or any combination of methods) in the discipline(s) for which she/he has been employed. Instruction may take place at any of the college’s campuses, at a clinical partner facility, or at a designated temporary location. Faculty also provide academic advising and facilitate student success. Technology tools are routinely used to communicate with and support students. Faculty participate in divisional and institutional activities related to the college’s mission, engage with communities of interest, and promote college programs. This full-time faculty position is pivotal in the development and delivery of our AI courses in the Computer Information Technology Program, working closely with the Director.

Director of State Government Relations in Nashville
The Director of State Government Relations will serve as a key liaison between the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), the Tennessee General Assembly, and other government agencies. Working in collaboration with the AVC, the Coordinator for Government Relations, and the Executive Vice Chancellor for External Affairs, the Director is responsible for monitoring, tracking, and analyzing all proposed state legislation and assessing its potential effects on the TBR System. The Director will provide strategic advice and direction on how legislative activity may impact the System’s budget and policy priorities—particularly those related to student recruitment, support, progression, and completion. The Director cultivates strong relationships with legislators, state officials, and policy stakeholders to advocate for the TBR System and align public policy with institutional, workforce development, and student success goals. This position will serve in a cross functional role with the other Directors in the Department of Government and Public Relations. This position supervises the Coordinator of Government Relations. Faculty - Technologies (Artificial Intelligence) in Memphis
This is a full-time academic-year (9-month) term appointment faculty position reporting to the Department Chair of Technologies. Teaching responsibilities will include foundational and advanced AI topics such as Python programming, data analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence tools and frameworks, neural networks, and ethical considerations in AI. The faculty member will also play a key role in shaping the AI curriculum and integrating hands-on learning experiences into the program. The faculty member is responsible for performing assigned duties during the day, evening, or weekend on any Southwest Tennessee Community College campus as assigned. At a minimum, the related activities include instruction, instructional counseling, academic advising, serving on various committees, and participating in local, state, regional, and national professional activities and organizations.
