This is a full-time, academic year position reporting to the Dean of Health Sciences and assumes EMS programmatic instructional activities for the needs and demands of the DSCC EMS programs. The Director of the Sonography Program is responsible for the Certificate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and the Certificate of Cardiovascular Sonography Programs at Jackson State Community College. Position Summary: Do you have a passion for sharing your expertise, craft or hobby with others? Pellissippi State’s noncredit lifelong learning program offers personal enrichment classes for the community with a wide range of topics, including: fitness, languages, musical instruments, arts and crafts, wellness, history, and more. Class participants are community members ages 18+. Some of the many benefits of teaching a lifelong learning class include working with engaged and enthusiastic adult learners and flexible class scheduling. Our noncredit class schedule is released twice a year: spring/summer and fall. Classes can be as short as 90 minutes or up to 20 hours in length. Instructors are expected to have a high level of expertise in the subject of their proposed class, and some experience in teaching or training others.
