      The Facilities Support Associate 4 performs building maintenance and related work as required in a variety of areas including, but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, lighting, landscaping, painting, carpentry, and HVAC. During inclement weather events or emergency maintenance situations, facilities personnel may be called in to work outside of regularly scheduled work hours. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with a fixed schedule to be set after employment begins. Some travel and work at satellite campuses may be required.

    • Associate Instructor, Automotive Technology, Clarksville in Clarksville

      The Automotive Technology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to adult and high school students to prepare them for employment in the field of auto mechanics. The Automotive Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports; and assist in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates and other administrative duties. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Scheduled class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is grant-funded and is not a remote position.

      This position will provide support to the Admissions team by assisting with administrative tasks, event preparation, recruitment initiatives, data processing, and projects as needed. This position will assist with various tasks, including campus tours, call campaigns, mailing preparation, and more. This position will assist prospective students and applicants through the enrollment process and positively represent Vol State and provide excellent customer service.

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the Student Success Center, which is designed to provide holistic services from pre-enrollment to completion with a primary goal of increasing graduation rates. The Director will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to increase graduation rates, ensure program effectiveness, and foster key partnerships that enhance student success.
