      This is a full-time position reporting to the Assistant Director of Recruitment and K-12 Partnerships. The Recruiter creates awareness and disseminates information about the programs of study at Southwest Tennessee Community College to prospective high school and adult students and the mid-south community through recruitment events held at area high schools, community events and programs hosted by Southwest Tennessee Community College. He/she may work some evenings and weekends as needed; travels between the two main campuses, site locations; and travels mostly within the state for attendance at professional meetings. He/she will need to be bilingual in English and Spanish.

      Students who are eligible for federal work-study positions have an opportunity to gain valuable work experience by working in various campus departments. Students will develop basic career preparation skills that will prepare them for professionalism in the workplace. Federal work-study positions are flexible as hours are adjusted to the student’s course schedule. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee employment.
