Responsibilities include typing information from documents, verifying accuracy, organizing records, and potentially generating reports. Key Responsibilities – Essential Job Functions: The Data Entry Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student and institutional records. This position is responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining data in student information systems and administrative databases. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage confidential information with discretion. • Data Input: Accurately entering information into databases and systems. • Data Verification: Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of entered data. • Data Maintenance: Updating existing records and organizing data. • Report Generation: Assisting with creating reports based on the data. • Record Keeping: Maintaining both digital and physical files. • Confidentiality: Protecting sensitive data and adhering to privacy policies. • Communication: Communicating with team members regarding data requirements. • Data Security: Performing regular backups to prevent data loss. • Other duties as assigned. Background checks will be completed on all new hires. Physical Demands and Working Conditions (ADA REQUIREMENTS): Walking, climbing, bending, stooping. Work performed in office, testing center and classroom environments. Salary: Commensurate with experience, education, and training according to Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
