This 864-clock hour program prepares students for high-demand careers in electric vehicle production, with a focus on advanced manufacturing processes and EV-specific systems. The instructor will guide students through rigorous, hands-on learning and classroom instruction designed to meet the entry-level needs of EV manufacturers and provide stackable, industry-recognized credentials such as the MSSC Certified Production Technician, IC3 Digital Literacy, FANUC Robot Operator, and Six Sigma White Belt. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Deliver engaging, competency-based instruction aligned with the Electric Vehicle Production Technology curriculum, including topics such as LEAN manufacturing, precision measurement, robotics, mechatronics, and production safety. • Prepare students for nationally recognized certifications and employment in electric vehicle production. • Monitor and evaluate student progress in both technical skills and essential worker characteristics (e.g., communication, teamwork, productivity). • Maintain instructional equipment, tools, and training materials in a safe and functional condition. • Participate in curriculum development and enhancement, program review, and industry advisory committees. • Establish and maintain partnerships with local employers to support student job placement and career pathways. • Maintain accurate records on student attendance, grades, and competencies. Minimum Qualifications: • Postsecondary credential in a related field. • Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in electric vehicle manufacturing, automotive production, industrial automation, or a closely related field. • Strong understanding of EV systems, manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control practices. • Proficiency with tools and technologies used in modern EV production environments, including robotics and mechatronics. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Must be willing to complete the required training in instructional methods.
