This position serves a dual support role within the area of Student Services. As a Student Records Specialist, this position will assist the Office of Student Records with support for our students with official transcripts, graduation drop/add of courses and enrollment verifications. This position will also serve as an Assistant Baseball Coach working to recruit and train the best student-athletes to play baseball at Walters State. This position guidance and direction to student-athletes in training, both on the baseball field and in the weight room and also serves as an academic liaison for student-athletes.

Director - Academic Assessment in Memphis
The Director of Academic Assessment will support Southwest Tennessee Community College’s assessment initiatives to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and integrity of academic programs. This position plays a key role in ensuring decisions are data-driven with demonstrated evidence-based improvement, which is central to Southwest's commitment to student success and core values. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Academic Innovation and Faculty Support, the Director will collaborate with faculty and academic leadership to develop assessment strategies, oversee program data analysis to ensure program coherence and sequencing, and utilize assessments that yield valid results supporting continuous improvement. While providing oversight of programmatic assessment activities, the Director of Academic Assessment will work closely with the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness to support Quality Assurance Funding submissions, coordinate Academic Audits, and support accreditation (programmatic and national) as it pertains to assessment activities.
