      Diesel Powered Equipment Technology Instructor in Crump

      The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for the full-time position of Diesel Powered Equipment Technology Instructor in the Diesel-Powered Equipment Technology program. This position will be at the Parsons Extension Campus in Parsons, TN.

    • Child Care Aide 2 (Grant-Funded) in Memphis

      This is a full-time, grant-funded position in the Early Childhood Education program. The Child Care Aide 2 is under close supervision under the Director and Lead Teacher. The Child Care Aide 2 is responsible for implementing program, goals and classroom objectives, and performing related work as required for children six (6) weeks to five (5) years old.

    • Custodial Supervisor in Memphis

      Under general direction of the Environmental Services Coordinator, the Custodial Department is seeking a lead custodian to supervise the full-time, part-time, and temporary custodial personnel in proper floor care, cleaning, furniture set-up/moving, and safety procedures. Position would also be responsible for performing custodial work, and have the ability to work a flexible schedule with occasional after hours, weekend, or holiday work as required.

    • Instructor_Industrial Maintenance and Automation in Shelbyville

      The Industrial Maintenance and Automation Instructor shall be directly responsible to the institution administration for effective performance of assigned responsibilities and duties. The instructor shall observe rules, policies, and regulations set forth by the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Shelbyville (TCAT), Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), and the Council of Occupational Education (COE); and shall strive to promote and elevate the mission and philosophy of occupational education within the areas served. They shall keep abreast of industry standards and techniques by visiting industry partners, continuing education, and reviewing periodicals and industrial magazines commensurate to the course being taught. The instructor shall develop and maintain a complete progressive course of study, lesson plans, assignments, and instructional aides to meet educational requirements and industry standards. They shall also oversee student conduct, motivation, safety, discipline, and appearance, addressing issues as they arise. The instructor shall build and cultivate partnering relationships with schools, business, and industry partners to promote the ideals of occupational education and implement an effective placement program for students.

    • Coordinator - Center for Access in Memphis

      Reporting to the Director of Student Advocacy & Support, the Coordinator assists in supporting day-to-day operations of the Center for Access, serving students with disabilities. The Coordinator will support the center’s student organization (L.E.A.D.), manage the ambassador mentoring program, and ensure students with disabilities receive the supports they need to be successful at Southwest.
