Director of Nursing and Allied Health in Jackson
Manage all Allied Health programs at TCAT Jackson locations in Jackson, Brownsville, Whiteville, Lexington, Humboldt, and Henderson. • Organize and ensure advisory meetings are conducted according to policy. • Maintain completion, placement, and licensure standards of COE, TN Board of Nursing, and TCAT Jackson. • Work with area healthcare facilities to secure clinical sites and serve as a liaison to ensure students meet all clinical requirements. • Identify equipment needs for the allied health departments. • Work with appropriate administrative personnel to develop adequate program budgets. • Develop, review, and update curricula and instructional material with faculty to ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory or accreditation standards. • Facilitate professional development programs for assigned faculty. • Coordinate First Aid and CPR activities for faculty, staff, and students. • Compile, revise, and publish the Practical Nursing Handbook and related manuals and brochures on a timely basis. • Administer policies and procedures established by TBR/ TCAT and participate in College and departmental policy development. • Serve as the point of contact between the institution and third-party sponsors and vendors for nursing and allied health students. • Perform all other duties as assigned by the President.

Adjunct/Substitute Instructor (POOL) in various locations
Part-time/Substitute Instructors are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction within their area of expertise for programs offered at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Shelbyville. Instruction may be assigned at the Main Campus in Shelbyville, at one of our extension campuses in Winchester or Fayetteville, or at any designated teaching location. It supports the planning, coordination, and execution of quarterly and special Board meetings, while assisting with the development, submission, and tracking of capital budget requests and project documentation. The position also participates in and supports the preparation for SBC, ESC, OSA, THEC, F&A, TSSBA, Board of Regents, and related meetings.
