Adjunct Faculty - School of Arts & Humanities, Spanish Languages in Galloway
The Languages and Culture Studies Program invites applications for an adjunct teaching position to teach Beginning Spanish I and/or II. These courses are the first-year sequence for instruction in Spanish language. The principal objective of these courses is to help students achieve linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness by learning basic communicative skills and grammatical structures of the Spanish language; practicing the four language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening); and learning about diverse aspects of Hispanic cultures. Beginning Spanish refers to elementary-level language courses, an introduction to basic Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and communicative structures.

Seeking applicants to teach undergraduate level courses in the following areas in all levels: - A variety of movement and somatic based techniques including but not limited to modern, ballet, improvisation, jazz, african, tap, dance composition, yoga and pilates. - Lecture based courses including but are not limited to Dance History, Dance Pedagogy and Wellness, Senior Seminar, Dance Production, Kinesiology. - Movement based courses within General Studies curriculum such as Intro to Dance, Modern Principles, Dance and Culture.
