George Mason University, Student Health Services, is seeking a Behavioral Health Resident in Counseling to join our integrated healthcare team, which includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and behavioral health staff. This position will provide brief evidence-based interventions and psychotherapy to students during and after medical appointments, both in-clinic and via telehealth. This position will support students in identifying, reducing, and preventing mental health and substance use concerns, while also coordinating referrals for more intensive treatment as needed, under supervision by the Associate Director of Behavioral Health Services.
