Postdoctoral Research Fellow in various locations
Quantum Education Research for Social Transformation Fellowship will prepare recent doctoral graduates to become leaders in STEM education and workforce development research. Prior knowledge of physics or quantum science is not required for this position. The program is designed to enhance fellows’ research skills and build their understanding of convergence research through a cohort research project on creating a diverse and equitable quantum workforce. We will foster fellows’ post-academic growth and career readiness by providing wrap-around support (e.g., career guidance, mentorship, professional development workshops, access to leaders in related disciplines) of their development as leaders in this field.

Math Education Adjunct Faculty in various locations
The Division of Elementary, Literacy, and Secondary (ELS) Education and the Secondary Education (SEED) program invite applications from highly qualified adjunct faculty to teach an array of undergraduate and graduate courses in Math Education, including “Teaching Math in the Secondary School,” “Advanced Methods of Teaching Math in the Secondary School,” and “Internship in Secondary Education: Math.” Beginning with the Spring 2025 semester, the SEED program and ELS division have a high level of need for instructors with coursework and professional experience in math instructional and assessment methods. The SEED program at GMU is a state-approved initial licensure program and offers in-person and hybrid courses.
