      The Carter School Undergraduate Program provides coursework, programming, and advising support for students majoring in Conflict Analysis, students with one of six different conflict minors, and students from across the university who enroll in one of our many skill-building classes. The Academic Advisor & Recruitment Coordinator ensures students receive consistent, high quality guidance, while the school maintains strong visibility, enrollment, and programmatic excellence within the university and the broader community.

    • Instructional Term Faculty (Open Rank) in various locations

      The Mathematical Sciences Department is accepting applications for an Instructional Term Faculty (Open Rank) position. The position will teach four (4) undergraduate courses (lower and upper level such as Calculus, Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations) each semester and provide some service duties associated with the department’s undergraduate degree. This is a state-funded, full-time (9-month) instructional (non-tenure-track) faculty position with the option of additional summer teaching opportunities. The position is renewable contingent upon satisfactory performance.

    • Assistant Coach, Men's Soccer in various locations

      The primary role of the Men's Soccer Assistant Coach is to recruit and coach top student-athletes. The Assistant Coach provides teaching, coaching, and technical expertise needed to allow the student-athlete to compete at their highest competitive potential. Additionally, it is a primary responsibility to be cognitive to all coaching and/or teaching duties associated with the program. This is to include, but not be limited to, oversight and management of the safety and well-being of those student athletes assigned to their coaching care, and usage of applied data analytic concepts for modeling and statistical evaluation of player and team performance. In the absence of the Head Coach, this position is expected to act on behalf of the Head Coach on any and all related program issues. The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of a highly competitive Division I program.

      This part-time position is typically 20 hours per week and reports to the Associate Vice President, OACC. The position supports George Mason University's compliance with various federal and state laws and regulations related to non-discrimination and harassment, including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

The Part-Time Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of clerical and technical tasks that ensure efficient day-to-day operations within the department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The compensation for this position is $22.50/hour.

      The Associate Nursing Director provides supervision and leadership to the nursing team with Student Health Services (SHS), oversight to the clinical operations at all SHS clinics, clinical oversight to the immunization compliance process, and clinical care to patients as needed. The Associate Nursing Director serves with the Executive Director and other Associate Directors on the SHS Leadership team and provides leadership to SHS when the Executive Director and Associate Medical Director are unavailable.

      The Lab Manager ensures a smooth, safe, and efficient operation of teaching laboratories within the Bioengineering department. This role oversees day-to-day lab activities, manages resources, and supports faculty, staff, and students by maintaining compliance with safety regulations and institutional policies. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Lab Manager provides hands-on training in laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use, and may teach or assist in delivering selected lab sections for undergraduate courses. This position is critical for enabling high-quality research and education by coordinating equipment maintenance, inventory, purchasing, and instructional support.

    • Research Scientist in various locations

      The Center for Satellite and Earth Science Research (CSER) within George Mason University is seeking candidates for our open position as Research Scientist. The primary purpose of this position is to take a role of code manager for NOAA/OAR/ARL’s model and tool repository. The Research Scientist will also conduct the developmental and testing work for the atmospheric composition models.
