Purpose of Position

Transcriptionist position to assist forensic pathologists with autopsy reports.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Transcribe verbally dictated autopsy reports from pathologists.

Required Competencies

• Five years experience transcribing forensic autopsy reports including 2 of those years in a medical examiner or coroner setting.
• Ability to transcribe verbally dictated autopsy reports accurately and quickly.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Five years' experience transcribing forensic autopsy reports including 2 of those years in a medical examiner or coroner setting.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
