The Graduate School is accepting applications for a Director of Graduate Admissions who will be responsible for overseeing the graduate admission processes for all graduate degree and certificate programs at JMU. The Director supervises a team that manages our online application system, distributes applicant documentation to programs, receives admission recommendations from programs, issues official admission letters, receives responses from admitted candidates, and matriculates new students. As university-wide technology changes, the Director is responsible for implementing changes in graduate admissions practices as necessary. This role also serves as the first point of the primary interface between graduate admissions and other offices that need information or services. The university enrolls approximately 20,000 undergraduate and 1,900 graduate students. The university offers a wide range of programs including doctoral, master’s and graduate certificates in many fields of study including many professional licensure programs.

This position is a part-time position working 1500 hours over the period of one year with no benefits. The Creative Video Assistant will report directly to the Director of Video Services and will serve as a vital part of the Creative Services team, assisting with the coverage of all 18 varsity sport programs to highlight the student-athlete experience and the Athletics department. Our team is looking for eager content producers with an eye for social media and a desire to grow their skills and work collaboratively with a team. This position will be required to work in both an office setting as well as consistently contributing to the coverage of a variety of varsity sporting events.
