The Math & Statistics Department is looking for two (2) student office assistants to join our team! We are a casual and welcoming department and seek students who are happy to help faculty/staff with scanning, copies, errands, and more. These students will also have the responsibility of cleaning blackboards and erasers approximately once a week. Work hours flexibility is helpful, and we will accommodate your class schedule. Average 10 hours per week with a maximum of 15 in special circumstances. The ideal employees would be available at least some of the following times: 8-9 Monday to Friday, and Friday afternoons.

The University Health Center (UHC) is accepting applications for an Athletic Training position to oversee care of Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) students, provide support and guidance to students recovering from concussion and facilitate student rehabilitation from injury upon referral of University Health Center providers. This position does not include the care of NCAA athletes. The UHC provides a comprehensive array of health care services and health education programs to JMU students. Included in our health care services are several medical clinics, a pharmacy, a medical laboratory, and other programs that provide services for more than 30,000 patient encounters a year. UHC practices evidence-based medicine in a confidential, inclusive environment. This is a 9-month, full-time position with a recurring rest period of May 10th - August 9th.
